Thank you. As the first of the stories a lot of the style has been refined since this one, even considered adding a warning to the prologue about it being the roughest. So I was relieved to get this comment and know that it isn't repelling everyone.
Wow! Very exciting things going on with Aodh. Somehow I was under the impression that lighting a nobleman's hair on fire was his whole dramatic backstory.
Having the characters' names link to their profiles is a nice touch. Very convenient.
I thought I remembered you mentioning that in a post at some point! tbh I don't think you have anything to worry about - Hákon doesn't seem like the type of character that people get in a twist about to me
Yeah, okay. I see why I was initially drawn to Aodh. “I’ll let you hate me any way you want to. That’s the only way I can love you now.” … OOF.
I’m also digging the complicated dragon/thrall(?) worldbuilding. I don’t fully understand all of it yet, but I’m excited to see it develop as I read more
Aodh was the most popular amongst my friend group when I was charting out this world and working on yet to be published things, so it's nice to see him also be popular here.
Very interesting and unique. Well-scripted.

Aodh has quite a bit going on, his story is basically a distant epilogue to the short story with him and Fintan.
Yeah I've fallen off on doing the profile links in names, but it does seem to be helpful, need to get back on that.
the drama!! this is fun
is Hákon your problematic fave? 👀
big fan of Lingering Guilt as a name for an enemy
Yes Hákon is my problematic fave, maybe too much for other people. Glad you're still enjoying the earliest and roughest story.
