I do enjoy fighting games and competitive games, but it can be frustrating as the only game I am better at then anyone I know is Hades . . . And maybe MK 11. . .
I have very low tolerance for gore, so never played Mortal Kombat. The worst feeling is when there's a skill gap in your friend group for a game you like, hard to really have fun on either end. Most games have handicap features, but turning them on feels a little too arrogant.
I don't really like gore much either. Yeah, like doing mge in tf2 with my friends, (haven't done that much though I prefer casual) is hard because they are so much better than me. Sniper 1v1s are the worst . . . But still, tf2 is really fun.
I think what you did, a story from a videogame perspectives, is interesting.
I only jumped in partway chapter four or so, but I liked Nisha and her character. I liked the part where it said "end exploration." Reminded me of Triangle Strategy.
Nisha seems to be a popular character, my friends love her. The exploration sections are nice for me because NPC dialogue is a very useful worldbuilding tool. I only played the demo of Triangle Strategy but I liked the NPC dialogue there.

Thank you. Was there any particular element of the story you enjoyed?

That's cool.
I've played through it, but I want to again to get the golden ending.
